Mental Health and Exams

For many of us, these Professional Exams will be the toughest we will face. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by juggling these exams and classes alongside work (never mind a social life!). CASSI are working closely with CAI to ensure that students are aware of the services out there that can help.

In 2018 we held the first Mental Health Awareness evening in Ulster in partnership with both CAI and Aware NI (a Mental Health charity). This focused on how to identify stress, how to manage your stress and  details the support services available specifically within CAI. Following this, we received some handy hints from lecturers in the Institute. I’ve included our ‘take away’ leaflet from this meeting for more info.

This event was replicated in Dublin following the success of the Ulster meeting and it is CASSI’s intention to expand this across the country and continue to promote awareness of mental health and encourage students to get talking and make use of the services available when they need it.

If you are feeling stressed, depressed, anxious or just not quite yourself, please take a look at the information on Chartered Accountants Support below and get in touch as soon as possible.
